This OS belong to BSD. This operating system, MidnightBSD, based on the famous OS FreeBSD. It is originally from USA. Use the following desktop environments: Awesome, Blackbox, Enlightenment, Fluxbox, GNOME, KDE, Openbox, WMaker, Xfce.
Xfce is a desktop environment that need low resources for this reason is useful for PC’s with low computing power. The KDE Desktop in together with Gnome the most used desktop in linux. It consumes a little less resources than Gnome but it is still heavy and very customizable as well.
