This OS belong to Solaris. This OS is based on Solaris, OpenSolaris. It was originally created in United Kingdom. Use the following desktop environments: MATE.
MATE is a fork of the Gnome desktop.
Use cases:

  • OpenIndiana can be used as a workstation operating system.
  • This distro it can be used from a flash drive or CD without having to install it on the PC.
