Xfce is a desktop environment that need low resources for this reason is useful for PC’s with low computation power. Cinnamon is a desktop Developed by the Linux Mint project it is a colorful graphical environment and not light. KDE in together with Gnome the most used desktop in linux. It is highly customizable and somewhat heavy but less so than Gnome. LXDE is a famous desktop for Linux that tries to consume few resources while still having a visually appealing interface.
